The new paradigms of digital communications involve the massive use of profiling techniques, many of which could pose a risk to privacy, of highly viral messages and of mobile technologies.
The management of communications campaigns provide companies with opportunities, but may also transform into a boomerang if they are not correctly managed. Claims promoted by the independent authorities such as the Italian Competition Authority (AGCOM), the Italian Antitrust Authority (AGCM) or the Italian Data Protection Authority concerning the correctness of communications are increasing in frequency, as well as the problems relating to the correct performance of contracts with the parties involved in managing the campaign.
